Shenoy: I don't know the details, but somebody wrote to me saying he did not really congratulate LP/MB and give them credit for a tough three-set win against Becker/Goellner in front of the partisan German crowd.. I t was simply incredible to beat Germans in Germany !

Shenoy: I saw Mahesh fire in a 124 mph at LA infinity. There was a 128 mph that fell half inch out.. He served some 4 times at 122 (match against Courier)..

Shenoy: Courier won 7-6(7-5), 6-3.. Mahesh should have won the first set, but for the worst call I have ever seen in my life against him (ball called out).. It was a very close match and mahesh could have won if he went ahead in the first set and put Courier under pressure. he was playing great that week (win agaist Nestor the previous day).
