Ricky Ponting entered the field with three ducks on his back, which obviously weighed on him. He was out for another golden duck, off the bowling of Harbhajan. The young Sardar was now beginning to take centerstage. He bacame the first spinner since 1984 to take three consecutive 5 wicket hauls. The last to do so was L. Sivaramakrishnan.
