England will delay naming their starting line-up for the third Test against Australia until Friday morning to allow Andy Caddick time to prove his fitness.
The Somerset fast bowler has been a major selection doubt since contracting a back spasm during England's crushing defeat in the second Test in Adelaide.
He has a bowl under the watchful eye of team physio Kirk Russell and the local doctor advising the team.
