On Saturday, April 19, Dr M J Manohar Rao, one of our respected contributors, passed away.
Dr Rao was a professor at the department of economics, Bombay University and a director, Bank of Baroda.
The Rediff Cricket Rankings and the World Cup Fantasy Game, in association with Dr Srinivas Bhogle, were some of his invaluable contributions to rediff.com.
Our heartfelt condolences to his wife and family. May God give them the courage to bear this tragic loss.
