Kids asked for autographs in the middle of nets and Parthiv refused none.

When a youngster asked him why he wasn't getting his jump right at the point of delivering the ball, he asked him to bowl and then commented, "Aur kitna kudega? For your weight this jump is perfect. Look to bowl straight instead of gaining speed."

A wise head on young shoulders.

Strangely, though, the keeper hardly spent any time training the youngsters on the nuances of keeping wickets.
