Winning streaks

10 matches

Most probably the last of the great West Indian teams of the eighties. The Viv Richards-led West Indies were dangerous. They thrashed teams like their predecessors and played with a savagery that was pleasing to spectators. Courtney Walsh, Patrick Patterson, Curtly Ambrose formed the formidable bowling attack while Desmond Haynes, Richie Richardson and Richards shored up the batting.

They were unbeaten from January 5, 1988, to March 30, 1988.
