Rain delays start

August 21, 2004 14:00 IST

The opening match of the Holland tri-series between India and Pakistan on Saturday has been delayed due to rain.

The match was scheduled to start at 1400 IST.

Sachin Tendulkar would miss the match as he is suffering from a tennis elbow.

It is a condition when the outer part of the elbow becomes painful and tender, usually as a result of a specific strain, overuse, or a direct blow.
