Pakistan all rounder Abdul Razzaq [Images] has been ruled out of next week's third and final Test against England [Images] due to a lingering elbow injury, but hopes to make next month's five-match one-day series.

A Pakistan Cricket Board official said Razzaq had not been cleared to play in the Lahore [Images] Test starting on Nov. 29.

The 25-year-old Razzaq has played 37 Tests and 196 one-day internationals. He said: "I am very disappointed to miss all three Tests because this was such an important series, but I am trying to get fit for the one-dayers.

"I am bowling in the nets in short bursts but the medical board has advised me not to rush back into playing top grade cricket."

Pakistan go into the third Test also without pace bowler Shabbir Ahmed after he was reported for a suspect action and all rounder Shahid Afridi [Images], who picked up a one-match ban for scuffing the pitch in the second Test.
