India's left-arm pace bowler Irfan Pathan [Images], who was in Mumbai on Tuesday, refused to comment on the spat between coach Greg Chappell [Images] and Sourav Ganguly [Images], but was effusive in praise of the team support staff.

"Gregory King (physical trainer) has done a great job with the boys. Chappell and (Ian) Frazer have started extra fielding sessions that has helped raise the fitness standards in the team," Pathan said, during a promotional campaign.

The Baroda speedster, who had a fantastic run in the Test series in Zimbabwe, picking 21 wickets in two matches, said he is looking forward to putting up a good show under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid [Images], who was appointed to lead the Indian side for the One-Day International home series against Sri Lanka [Images] and South Africa.

"The Sri Lanka series will be a big challenge. Also playing 12 one-day matches back-to-back (seven against Sri Lanka and five against South Africa) is going to be tough," he said.

The 20-year-old added that he is working on some areas to improve his bowling.

"I am working on how to bowl on Indian pitches. I know I have some limitations on the pitches here, but I will try my best. In India, the ball comes onto the bat well, so it is difficult for fast bowlers."
