Caribbean show wins contract for Jaffer

The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Monday awarded a Grade C contract to opener Wasim Jaffer [Images].

BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said in a statement that the Mumbai player, having played five Test matches during the period of players' contract, would now be entitled for retainership from June 15 till the end of September 2006.
