The umpires' examination for non-cricketers, scheduled to be held on July 22 in Jaipur [Images], has been postponed till the first week of August, the Board of Control for Cricket in India said on Monday.

The decision to defer the examinations was taken by the Working Committee of the apex cricket body, BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said in a press release.
