Tamil Nadu Government on Wednesday announced Rs five lakh cash reward for Dinesh Karthik, a member of the Indian cricket team that won the Twenty20 World Cup.

An official release in Chennai said Chief Minister M Karunanidhi announced the reward for Karthik, who belongs to the state.
