Dilshan recalled for Pakistan ODIs

Sri Lanka [Images] recalled middle order batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan [Images] into the one-day squad on Friday for a three-match series against Pakistan later this month.

Dilshan regained his form in the 2-0 Test series win in Bangladesh, scoring 162 and 143 in the second game in Chittagong.

He was not included for the tri-series in Bangladesh starting on Saturday. Zimbabwe are the third team.

Fast bowler Dammika Prasad was left-out to make room for an additional batsman in the 15-man squad that includes just four pace bowlers.

The Pakistan tour starts on January 18, immediately after the tri-series in Dhaka.

Squad: Mahela Jayawardena (captain), Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya [Images], Upul Tharanga, Chamara Kapugedera, Jehan Mubarak, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Thilina Kandamby, Muttiah Muralitharan [Images], Ajantha Mendis [Images], Farveez Maharoof, Dilhara Fernando, Nuwan Kulasekera, Thilina Thushara Mirando, Angelo Mathews.
