BO loves Mohabbatein!

So finally, it is loud and clear.
Two superstars are better than one.
Aditya Chopra is better than Vindhu Vinod Chopra.
Love is ahead of war.
While Mission Kashmir is sliding downhill at the ticket-windows, Mohabbatein is holding on pretty well.
And that is not just in India -- but in the US and UK, too.
In India, Bombay is the only territory where MK is as strong as Mohabbatein. But in Bombay, too, as in the rest of the country, reports of Mohabbatein are far, far better than MK.
Although some people are finding the love story (or should we say, stories?) too lengthy, the scenes between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are being adored by one and all.
Now, full houses in cities like Bombay are very understandable. But Mohabbatein drew houseful crowds on the fourth day even in cities like Indore, Jaipur and B class centres like Azamgarh (in UP).
In Lucknow, Adi's second film is almost full in advance for the first three days of the second week, too.
Punjab, which is usually partial towards action-flicks, seems to have rejected Vinod Chopra's terrorist fare in favour of the other Chopra's love tale.
So, for all those who thought Amitabh Bachchan was a dinosaur and Shah Rukh Khan was fast on his way to becoming one, Mohabbatein has come like a rude shock.
For the rest, it is just one helluva pleasant film.
PS Although the business of Mission Kashmir will be much more than that of Mohabbatein in the first week, ultimately, it is poised to zip ahead of MK.
The initial business of MK will be better because of more number of prints as well as more number of shows (Mohabbatein has only 3 shows daily against MK's 4 shows daily).
