Komal Nahta

If you thought Mohabbatein was a lengthy film, think again.

After Aditya Chopra, it's actor Aamir Khan who has made a very, very lengthy film.

Initially Aamir's first production venture, Lagaan had a running time of four-and-a-half hours. The film has now been edited to three-and-a-half hours.

But Aamir, who is keen that the film prove to be a profitable venture, has decided to limit it to three-and-a-half hours only if his distributors think it worthwhile.

Aamir and Adi sure seem to think length is strength.

Meanwhile, industry insiders have been raving about the music of Lagaan. The songs have been composed by A R Rahman and written by Javed Akhtar, and have been choreographed by Raju Khan.
