Review Guess who is buying most of Dimple Kapadia's candles? None other than Tabu who is currently in the process of decorating her house.

And the interior designer is Twinkle Khanna. The two actresses are almost inseparable getting along like two peas in a pod. Not only do they shop together, they also spend many hours over lunches and dinners discussing interiors.

What's more, Dimple is now said to be making candles especially for Tabu.

This what they call the light of friendship?

You? Me? Or both?

Shilpa Shetty Quite forgotten in this Tabu-Twinkle friendship is that other close buddy of Tabu --- Shilpa Shetty.

Their frienship started during the shooting of Pranlal Mehta's Tarkieb, progressed over coffees, lunches and outings, cementing into thick bond.

But Shilpa has of late, twitter the nasties, seen to be getting wary of Tabu and her silent games of playing one against the other in the guise of getting them together.

Shilpa, of course, would not want to be part of this politics, would she?

Fist before he speaks

Salman Khan He's a tough guy, our Salman Khan.

In broad daylight, in full view of the unit of Ramesh Sippy Productions' new film where Aishwarya Rai was shooting with Abhishek Bachchan, our strongman Salman vent his spleen fist first on his lady love's car and then on the lady love herself.

Salman is said to have stormed to the location, roughed up the car, kicked it violently and then rammed his car into it. Insiders swear that Ash who remained inside initially did venture out later only to be slapped by Salman.

Gentleman that he is, Abhishek Bachchan did come to his leading lady's rescue. Only, he had to contend with Salman's ire.

You can't touch me!

Akshay Kumar must have been one happy camper. Judge at the Fa Femina Miss India Contest 2002, he was treated to a rare sight of Mahima Chaudhry, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty --- all three ex-Akshay flames -- dance on stage.

Not to be outdone, Akshay was cool as a cucumber, not displaying any sign of nervousness or embarrassment.

Raveena and Shilpa did not spare him a chance. The girls did gang up and try their best to unnerve him backstage, after the event. Not that they succeeded.

His pillar of strength, Twinkle Khanna, had tagged along, leaving behind all her other commitments, when she got to know of the performers.

I'm a bad-weather friend, too!

Sanjay Dutt It is a well-known fact: Sanjay Dutt's attention span is very short. And his friendship with people is quite seasonal.

With the non-success of Mahesh Manjrekar's Sanjay Dutt starrer Pitaah their friendship was expected to fizzle out.

Instead Sanjay Dutt has stuck by Mahesh and, optimists swear, reaffirmed his faith in the director's talent. He is nonplussed by the box office fate of Pitaah. But Sanjay Dutt has gone ahead and given top priority of dates for Manjrekar's Pratibimb, a sequel to Vaastav.

Take me, take my son

Uday Chopra Everyone has a soft centre. Filmmaker Yash Chopra, too, has one --- his son Uday Chopra.

Realising well that he cannot cast sonny boy in film after film, Yash Chopra has decided to produce and present films which can accommodate Uday either in a lead role or at least in a stellar role.

There's a positive side, to this, too: After filmmaker Sanjay Gadvi, despite his earlier no-show Tere Liye, managed to get a film rolling under the Yash Chopra banner, new directors are queuing outside his office with scripts.
