Among the other awardees that evening were Asha Bhosle for Best Pop Album (Aap Ki Asha) and Adnan Sami for Best Remixed Album (Lift Karade). Devang Patel received the award for Best Dance Video (Scope 2).

Rahul Sharma, son of sitar maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, won the Best Debut Music Director Award for his score in Mujhse Dosti Karoge.
