What: The University of Westminster in London invites applications for its Masters programmes at the Harrow School of Computer Science.
The courses include:
~ Advanced Computer Science
~ Bioinformatics
~ Biometrics
~ Business Computing
~ Computer Animation
~ Computer Networks and Communications
~ Computer Networks and Distributed Computing
~ Computer Science (Conversion)
~ E-business Systems Design
~ Electronics Commerce
~ Information Technology Security
~ Intelligent and Multiagent Systems
~ Interactive Multimedia
Tuition fees range from � 8,610 (Rs 7,29,400) to � 8,925 (Rs 7,56,060).
Owing to inflation, these fees can be increased by approximately five percent in 2005.
Are you qualified?
For Advanced Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biometrics, Computer Networks and Communications, Computer Networks and Distributed Computing, Electronics Commerce and Intelligent and Multiagent Systems
~ You must have an extensive computer science background.
For Business Computing and E-business Systems Design
~ You must have either a business or computing background.
For Masters in Computer Animation
~ You must be a computer literate graduate with a degree in design or a film-related discipline (like illustration, graphics design, film studies).
~ You can also apply if you have a good honours degree in a technology based course with a creative component such as multimedia or web development.
~ A portfolio is a must.
For Masters in Computer Science (Conversion)
You must be a graduate with a good honours degree in a non-computer science or IT related degree.
For Masters in Interactive Multimedia
~ You must be a graduate with computing or non-computing backgrounds.
~ Any industrial experience will be valuable.
~ You must have a portfolio.
The University has one of the largest scholarships schemes in the UK and international students are encouraged to apply once they have an offer.
