What: The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management -- Kerala offers a Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Information Technology.

About PGDIT

~ The course teaches

• Core and advanced IT concepts and skills
• Management principles
• Personality and leadership development
• Information systems organisation

~ Students also undergo short courses and industry-recognised certification programmes in IBM, Rational, Sun Java, etc.

~ The course is of 18 months duration.

~ Admissions are open to students from both within and outside Kerala.

~ Fifty percent of seats are reserved for candidates from Kerala.

~ For seats reserved for candidates from Kerala, IIITM-K follows the pattern of communal reservations followed by similar professional courses in Kerala.

Are you eligible?

~ You should have a bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering or technology with at least 60 percent aggregate marks.

OR

You should have a master's degree in computer applications with at least 60 percent aggregate marks.

~ Candidates in the final year of the degree courses may also apply.

The admission procedure

You will have to appear for an All India Entrance Test, followed by an interview.

The entrance test will be held on March 13, 2005 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the centres given below.

The interviews for candidates who qualify at the examination will be held in mid-May 2005 at Thiruvananthapuram.
