Ok, so CAT 2007 has come and gone. But for those of you taking additional exams, you must remain focused.

Today, we'll take a look at a concept that you must learn if you hope to excel in these post-CAT exams.

It's called Business Awareness or General Knowledge, and it drives the preparation for several highly reuputed MBA entrance examinations: it forms an integral part of IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) entrance exam, SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test), IRMA (Institute of Rural Management, Anand), NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) and MAT (Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA).

The following graph shows the comparison of the percentage share that BA/GK section has in each of them.

It is apparent from the bar graph that IRMA and IIFT have respectively 30% and 25% questions from the Business Awareness section. Knowing that these two exams for 2007 have already taken place, SNAP, MAT and NMAT are still to happen in December 2007.

Hence, any inputs on Business Awareness/General Knowledge will help test takers. Observing this, Experts at TCY have short listed 50 GA questions for the MBA aspirants. Moreover, one can get regular business GK Quizzes from TCY as well.
