Market@November 8: Day's report

The software stocks remained in the positive territory throughout the day and closed on a strong note. Star performers of the day were DSQ soft and Infosys.

Pharma stocks gained substantially during the day, while pivotals showed a mixed trend.

Sensex up 76 points at 4031, Nifty up 25 points at 1272.
