Market@November 9: Day's report

After a weak opening software stocks were dull throught the day with no significant movement during the course of the day. Among the pivotals HLL showed a spurt, but otherwise it was a dull day for pivotals too. Pharma stocks closed marginally negative.

Sensex down 5 points at 4023, Nifty up 1 point at 1268.
