Economic Survey to be tabled on Feb 27

February 25, 2003 18:10 IST

The pre-Budget Economic Survey outlining the reform roadmap and review of the economy will be presented to Parliament on Feb 27, an official announcement said on Tueasday.

The survey, which was originally scheduled for Feb 26, was postponed to Thursday as the presentation of the Railway Budget was shifted from Feb 24 to Feb 26.

Besides the Railway Budget, Parliament is slated to take up discussion on the Ayodhya issue on Feb 26 and hence the finance ministry agreed to the request of the parliament affairs ministry and shifted the Economic Survey presentation to Feb 27.
