TRAI invites feedback on quality of Internet service

May 08, 2003 14:48 IST

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has invited online customer feedback on the quality of Internet services in the country.

"TRAI would like to obtain the feedback about the quality of Internet service through an online customer survey which will also have a questionnaire relating to Internet telephony and braodband services," a TRAI media release said on Thursday.

The survey is being conducted through TRAI's Web site (www.TRAI.gov.in); the last date for sending the responses is June 7.

TRAI had earlier conducted a customer survey and public consultation. Based on the feedback, it had set benchmarks of quality of service for Internet, in December 2001.
