OUT TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee waves upon his arrival at Ngurah Rai airport in Bali, Indonesia, to attend India-ASEAN Business Summit on October 6.

The 10-member ASEAN consists of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

India made major strides during the prime minister's tour to Bali, signing major trade and security pacts with ASEAN.
