In a communication to Jaitley on Wednesday, the Manch convenor, P Muralidhar Rao, said it appreciated the commerce ministry for the stand he has taken on deepening the Doha strategy on various issues that were figuring at the Cancun Ministerial.

Rao also expressed the hope that the minister would take note of the memorandum submitted following a rally on September 2, 2003 by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and various other organisations demanding effective protection of national interests at the WTO conference.
