Information technology education company NIIT has launched its new GNIIT programme with software architecture to provide cutting edge skill to students in software solutions design and development.

"As business becomes more complex, software project development teams will need to apply software architecture skills at all levels. The new GNIIT programme will bridge that gap," Samarjit Dey, head, NIIT's individual learning business, said.

The GNIIT software architecture programme includes modules to prepare learners to become a Microsoft Certified Solution Partner.

The programme is supported by Microsoft to equip students with skills to design and develop business solutions using development tools.

"The GNIIT software architecture programme will provide necessary skills training on Microsoft .Net technologies which in turn will facilitate development of effective business solutions on .Net platform," Punit Vanvaria, manager, business development, Microsoft India, said.
