After Airtel, BPL Mobile is to introduce a 'Goodwill Pack' enabling roam free service to Pakistan from Tuesday following the Centre's decision to allow the facility for a period of four months.

The pack, which would be available till April 17, would allow free SMS to Pakistan and no surcharge would be levied on calls and SMS while roaming in the neighbouring country, which was currently hosting the Indian cricket team for five one-dayers and three test matches.

BPL Mobile, which has tied up with Mobilink of Pakistan for offering these services, in a statement said, their subscribers would get first 25 outgoing messages free.

The company would levy Rs 24 per minute for local call to any number in Pakistan and Rs 25.6 per minute to a mobile in that country while calls to any number back in India would be charged Rs 34.4 per minute for off-peak hours and Rs 44 per minute for peak hours, it said.

BPL Mobile would charge Rs 12 per outgoing SMS, while incoming is free.

Airtel was the first service provider to offer this service on Saturday.

The government would review the facility after the first four months of introduction.
