New Zealand PM visits Infosys, Biocon

New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clarke on Monday said there were immense opportunities to enhance bilateral trade with India.

"We see a lot of opportunities to step up trade between India and New Zealand," said Clarke, who visited software major Infosys and Biotech major Biocon campuses and interacted with officials on the emerging areas of IT and Biotechnology.

Accompanied by an ICT delegation, she spent nearly an hour each at both the companies. Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar Shaw took Clarke and her team around the Biocon campus and explained the capabilities of the country's largest biotech firm.
