Aishwarya Rai has been offered the lead role opposite Pierce Brosnan in thenew James Bond flick, but India'shighest-paidactress has yet to give her nod to the project.
Sources report theactress saying,'I am still to talk to the people from the London-based international coordinating agency who have sounded me for the role on behalf of the studio making Bond movies.'
Rai is recuperating at Mumbai'sHinduja Hospital, where she was admitted early on April 3 following an accident on the setsof Rajkumar Santoshi's Khaki, near Nasik, on April 2.Sources said, "The agency people had come over to Nasik on Wednesday to meet Rai, butshe was busy withrehearsals and could not discuss the project with them." They might now meet her on April 5.
The actress is scheduled to act in two internationalprojects -- Gurinder Chadha's Bride And Prejudice and Rolland Joffe's The Invaders.
