Voted as 2003�s third best actor by rediff.com readers, there is no denying the Khan�s staying power at the box-office and with the masses. Earlier, readers had voted for Hrithik Roshan as 2003's best actor. Salman Khan stood second. 2003 kickstarted on a crucial note for SRK with a surgery on his spine at London�s Wellington Hospital. Apparently Khan was suffering from a back ailment ever since he hurt himself while performing some stunts. Khan�s well-wishers -- Yash and Karan Johar, Juhi Chawla, Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji -- flew to London to be with the actor.
