I am not afraid to be a RSS activist: BJP assembly floor leader

Bharatiya Janata Party floor leader in the Andhra Pradesh assembly Baddam Bal Reddy today declared in the house that he was first an activist of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and then a BJP legislator.

Provoked by Majlis Ittehad-ul Muslimeen floor leader Asaduddin Owaisi who was sitting next to him in the House, Bal Reddy proclaimed, ''I am not afraid to be a RSS activist.''

Bal Reddy was trying to make a submission even as pandemonium prevailed in the House over the Congress's demand for a discussion on the resignation of the lone Muslim minister in the Nara Chandrababu Naidu cabinet.

Irritated by certain remarks which were not audible in the din, Reddy asked the Majlis leader to sit down and protested against the interruption and running commentary by the members.
