Joshi is a friend but a political rival, says Pawar

Sharad Pawar, leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi was a "good" friend, but a political rival.

He was reacting to the threat to Joshi by Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray over the CM's friendship with Pawar.

When asked whether Joshi faces a political threat because of him, Pawar stated that he (Joshi) faces a bigger threat from Thackeray.
