12 bureaucrats shunted out

In a major reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service officers in the state, the government has transferred 12 senior bureaucrats including Bombay City Collector Vijay Kumar Gautam and Bombay Suburban Collector Sanjay Chahande.

Gautam has been transferred to Pune while Parbhani Collector V L Gavai will replace Chahande. Bhandara Collector K U Gajhbiye has been brought in place of Gavai. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Council Chief Executive Officer Anil Diggikar has been transferred to Satara as the district collector.

Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation (Akola) Managing Director Baldev Singh has been transferred as Akola district collector. O P Gupta, chief executive officer of Akola Municipal Council, has been transferred to Amravati as district collector while Nagpur Deputy Sales Tax Commissioner M N Bobde has been transferred as Buldhana district collector in place of B I Nagrale. Nagrale has been posted as chief executive officer of Pimpri Chinchwad municipal council.

Gadchiroli Municipal Council CEO Lokesh Chandra has been transferred to Bhandara as the district collector while Chandrapur Municipal Council CEO S K Biswas has been posted as district collector of Jalna.

Maharashtra State Mahatma Phule Backward Classes Welfare Corporation's Managing Director G T Bandri has been posted as deputy secretary, housing development and special assistance department at Mantralaya. Sales tax department Deputy Secretary M D Pathak has been transferred as managing director of Land Water Survey Development Machinery, Pune.
