BJP not to join Goa ministry

The Goa unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided against joining the Wilfred de Souza government.

However, the four-member BJP group in assembly will continue to support the de Souza government.

BJP legislative party leader Sripad Naik told the media in Panaji today that the BJP was against jumbo-sized cabinets. The de Souza ministry already has 14 ministers.
