Lakshmi Parvathi launches her campaignNandamuri Taraka Rama Rao-Telugu Desam Party president Lakshmi Parvathi has mounted a scathing attack on the N Chandrababu Naidu government, alleging that corruption was rampant in the administration. Parvathi, who launched her party's election campaign from Narasannapeta and Polakki mandals of Srikakulam district on Tuesday, said Naidu had become a mute spectator to the increasing number of suicides by cotton growers in the state. She alleged that education was the worst-affected area under the TDP government with a record number of scandals and leakage of question papers in different universities in the state. Industrial development had come to a grinding halt, she said, claiming that the state was reeling under severe power cuts. UNI |
