Jamir's son is elected to RS
Congress nominee C Apok Jamir was today
declared elected unopposed to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from
Nagaland, by the returning officer Zhangulie.
C Apok Jamir, second son of Chief Minister S C Jamir,
was the only candidate to file his nomination papers from the state assembly.
Apok succeeds Vizol, whose term will expire on
April 2.
