7 militants killed in J&K encounter

At least seven militants were killed in an encounter with the security forces at Rafiabad in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district late last night.

An army spokesman said today that the militants were killed when they engaged the troops in a gun battle.

According to preliminary reports, all those killed were foreigners.

Militants attacked an army camp in Kupwara district yesterday.
