Message:Here is a plan of action that I propose. Immediate Steps ----------------- 1. Execute all the terrorists whose release is being asked for (specially "Masood") 2. Examine all methods(commando raids) to rescue the hostages taking assistance from Israel, USA or Russia 3. Warn the Taliban that if any harm comes to Indians that they will be held personally responsible (Use Agni, Prithvi armed with nuclear warheads to pulverilse Afganisthan if necessary) 4. Intensify operations against the terrorists in Kashmir, Assam,etc. TAKE NO PRISONERS, EXECUTE THEM on the spot.(This will remove the motivation for future hijackings) Medium Term ------------ 1. Put all the members of the CMG on trial, execute them if necessary. The CMG is bunch of corrupt/incompetent officials. 2. Weed out all the corrupt and incomptent bureaucrats from all the IB, RAW, Home ministry etc. Execute them if necessary. 3. Withdraw all security cover for the corrupt politicains, redeploy the NSG for anti-terrorist actions. Long term ---------- 1. Build up a strong and powerful India, shed the image of a Soft State. This is the reason we are facing all such problems. Israel is the e.g. we should follow. 2. Define a clear Plan of action for handling all types of crisis. Keep the Politicians and bureaucrats out of the picture. The plan should go into action automatically when a crisis occurs, even the president of India should not have the power to intervene. Message:If three terrorists can be released to save the life of a minister's daughter - Why not release a few persons to save the lives of 160 people. The release of three persons will not lose Kashmir for India. Had any relative of any political leader been in this unlucky flight, the govt by now had released all this as per demand and passengers would have been to their homes by now! No politician had allowed his son to join the military but these were the hypocrites who were asking young officers to die for them in Kargil. So apply same rules for common persons too. Release Maulana Masood and save all those aboard. They must not die just because they have no relation to any politician.

Message:There should be no comromise with the hijackers. Indian Govt needs to act decisively and fast. The govt seems to be lost in politics. National Defence Council should take decisions. There is no need to consult every Tom Dick and Harry opposition leaders etc. What is this going on. Can India not show the world that we mean business. Our soldiers died for Kargil. Then, and this is important, all the intelligence agencies must get together and get Masood back where he belongs and also the hijackers as soon as possible. Message:At this juncture, I think the Govt. should only think about the innocent lives in the planes. Terrorism has become a global phenomenon and no country is less vulnerable to it. By freeing Masood, I don't think terrorism is going to increase, whatever that means. It's high time India does something concrete to tackle ISI, Kashmir et al. But as I already mentioned, now and very quickly India should free the hostages. I can imagine the inhuman situation currently exsiting in the plane. May God protect these people.

Message:The storming operation which was conducted by the Mossad almost 20 years back was a risky affair and could have ended either way. In this day and age, cant we use technology to find a solution to this? Isnt there a way sleeping gas could be injected into the plane, maybe through the outlet at the bottom which is used for cleaning the lavatory or through the baggabe cabin? If there isnt, we have to negotiate with the terrorists and approach this in a calm way. Storming could result in further loss of lives or might even end up in the terrorists blowing the whole plane up.

Although the anguish of the kin of the hostages is understandable, there is no way by which the govt. should bow to such demands. I am of the opinion that these incidents can be avoided altogether in the future by the simple expedient of executing terrorists as soon as they are found; to hell with human rights! Message:Congratulations to the Govt. of India. Second time in 1999 we have had terrorists deliver hard slaps on our faces. Does anyone in the govt. care or dare to think how these incidents project India, the country they represent to the rest of the world, besides the unsettling fact that Indians get sacrificed for the lack of planning and foresight by their elected reprsentatives? I wonder if the govt. officials incharge had one of their relatives on board this flight or a young son dead in the heights of Kargil-would the level of planning be the same as what we seem to witness constantly. No question about it for the moment-as far as the release of Indian nationals are concerned we need to get them out of this for now; even if it means releasing terrorists. Message:The question is whether the hijackers are related to Maulana Masood are not? Although there have been reports that one of the hijackers is the younger brother of Maulana Masood but the fact remains that Masood is the Only son(reference ABC News 26 Dec 99). The Indian government and media is continously blaming Pakistan for the hijacking but it is obvious that this drama is the brain child of Indian agencies. How on earth can Indian government request Pakistan and Afghanistan to keep the aircraft at their airports, when it did nothing for the release of passangers while the aircraft was at the Amritsar airport.

To ensure these things first step which we need to take is close the boders with nepal and make visa compulsuory for nepal also This will restrict ISI agents to enter India. Nepal has become a royal way to enter India. they come to nepal on Pak passport and then enter india Royally. This has to stop for which we need to consider Nepal like any other country. This means loss of some revenue and diplomatic ties with nepal but this is essential for our internal security.
