CWC to meet tomorrow

The Congress Working Committee is meeting in New Delhi tomorrow to take stock of the situation arising out of Sonia Gandhi's refusal to withdraw her resignation as Congress president.

A decision to this effect was taken by senior party leaders including CWC members, who met at the residence of Pranab Mukherjee yesterday.

The meeting may moot disciplinary action against the three CWC members - Sharad Pawar, Purno A Sangma and Tariq Anwar - who had rebelled against the Congress president.

The CWC meeting was earlier scheduled for Wednesday.
