Amid speculation of a change of guard in Uttar Pradesh, four senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, including Chief Minister Ram Prakash Gupta, left Lucknow for New Delhi today.

According to BJP sources, the chief minister, state BJP president Om Prakash Singh, Public Works Department Minister Kalraj Misra and Urban Development Minister Lalji Tandon were summoned by the party high command.

The leaders, besides meeting central leaders, will attend a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
