One killed, 17 hurt in Agra blast

One woman was killed and 17 others injured in a powerful bomb explosion in a state road transport bus in Pali Pokher, 15 kilometres from Agra.

The police said the injured include six women and three children. The conditions of some of the injured were critical. Many of them were burnt.

The injured were hospitalised in the S N Medical college hospital and district hospital. There were at least 40 passengers on the bus.

This incident comes barely four days before the visit of US President Bill Clinton to this town.
