Kalraj Misra takes back resignation

E-Mail this report to a friend

Uttar Pradesh PWD Minister Kalraj Misra today announced withdrawal of his resignation tendered on April 27.

The minister, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, said he was withdrawing his resignation after Vidhan Sabha speaker Kesari Nath Tripathi gave a ruling in his favour.

Misra said since Chief Minister Ram Prakash Gupta had asked for the withdrawal of his resignation in the house, and the entire house was also of the view that the charges levelled against him were baseless, he had decided to take his resignation back.
