Bombay is not new to agitations. But this was different. The city woke up on Friday morning to find their taps dry for the second consecutive day - a fall out of a strike by civic workers demanding a bigger Diwali bonus. Soon, the entire city exploded into a spontaneous agitation. Roads were blocked, trains were stopped and BMC workers beaten up. The action continued late into the night.
