Rajnath Singh has not made any change in portfolios of the Uttar Pradesh Council of Ministers, it was announced in Lucknow on Tuesday.

The new chief minister has kept 15 departments with him, including portfolios held by four former ministers hailing from Uttaranchal.

No changes are expected to be made in departments of the 86-member Council of Ministers led by Singh, which was sworn-in three days back.

Singh has kept with himself portfolios of general administration, home, confidential, appointments, personnel, information, election, law, estate, civil aviation, industrial development, culture, trust, Uttaranchal and protocol, Uttaranchal development, culture and religious trust.

Cabinet minister Ramesh Pokhariyal and ministers of state Narayan Ram Das, Matwar Singh Kandari and Banshi Dhar Bhagat will shift to Uttaranchal, when it comes into existence on November 9.
