Ketan, Vivek granted bail in Rajvansh murder case

E-Mail this report to a friend

Ketan and Vivek, sons of Chetan Anand who are facing charges of murdering actress Priya Rajvansh, were Thursday granted bail by a court in Bombay.

Additional sessions judge H S Deshpande, while releasing the duo on a bail of Rs 20,000 in addition to a surety, warned them not to contact witnesses or leave the city without the court's permission.

The judge observed that there were two possibilities in the case, of the accused either being present or absent at the scene of the crime. Therefore, he observed that it would be too harsh not to grant them bail.

Ketan and Vivek were represented by their counsels Harshad Ponda and Satish Maneshinde, while the prosecution was represented by public prosecutor A G Deshmukh.

The duo was earlier refused bail.
