Uma Bharti all set to stage a comeback

Firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharti was likely to withdraw her resignation from the Lok Sabha next month and return to politics, her brother Swami Prasad said on Thursday.

Prasad said that Bharti had almost made up her mind to re-enter active politics and withdraw her resignation from the Lok Sabha after her talks with senior Uttar Pradesh minister Lalji Tandon at Kedarnath on Wednesday.

He said Tandon flew to Kedarnath as an emissary of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

According to Prasad, Bharti would go to New Delhi on October 7. She is likely to announce her decision to return to active politics after a meeting with the prime minister.
