Views:we have been extremely wimpish on this issue seems tomorrow maybe even bhutan can kill our soldiers and get away with it. if we talk of ourselves as being a superpower we should know how to defend every life and also how to deal with enemy for every loss of life. today we may lose another village to a country for which our soldiers had bled their blood in the past.i think bangladesh should be taught a lesson so that it behaves itself in future.

Views: I believe If we are a respectable nuclear power, we should retalitate with our might ( conventional weapons would do). If we let this happen to our India and if we let others attack India with impunity it just sends a wrong signal that we are weak. Hit them back and let them learn that attack on India will not go without being punished. God bless the families of the dead.

Views:Actually I'm really shocked by this brutal act of Bangladeshis towards a Nation which helped them to attain freedom from the iron hands of Pakistan. I'm also felt ashamed that even a single newspaper in India has reported it as a main news in its front pages. They are all busy with reporting the worst scenes that are happening now-a-days in the Lok Sabha and rajya Sabha.I'm an Indian and I can fell the sorrows of the BSF Jawans families. So, in my opinion the Govt. of india should act in the same way to that bloody nation who took away the valuable lifes of our Soldiers.I'm an Indian and I don't like aliens occupying our Motherland. Views:It a national shame and our foreign policy , the country which come into existance by our people and Army gets courage to attack on us , this is simply because of the fact that we are not bold enough to take proper action against those people . Look what have we done in Kashmir and hijacking , a bunch of criminal backed by some political people threatning the identity of our country . The better action should be to teach bangladesh a lesson which forbid them of doing these thing in future. A military action is needed .

Views:B'desh seems to have betrayed the trust which we have on them. Immediate action should be taken, by sending the army to take action. Otherwise even the Indian people will think that we are a soft target for any and every thing. India being a large country, we have a responsibility of exercising restraint, and the bangladesish are taking full advantage of this. But i believe this should not be allowed to happen.

Views:I think the reaction of the govt. shouldn't be overboard, because a militarily weak nation like bangladesh wouldn't have ventured in to do something as stupid as to provoke an infinitely more powerful neighbour. So, it is essential to analyse the reason behind this, instead of just trying to bully them. But, in any case will bloodletting shouldn't be accepted. We should warn Bangladesh against any killings as it will make it difficult for the govt. to handle the situation. I don't think cynicism like Sheikh hasina needing to prove a point caused this, because 16 peoples lives are too valuable to make such a silly point.

Views:Undoubtedly, India has been extremely submissive and wimpish in this case. We must retaliate hard and avenge our soldiers' death. To prevent such high handedness of BDR in future, we must hit hard to drive home a strong message. Our Govt. should take example from the US where a single death of a US citizen (not even soldier) is made a national issue with no compromises.

What about these Indians, their parliament is shut down for the last few weeks, their leaders are bandits and movie stars, and when an enemy occupy their land, they sing Urdu Poems. I AM PROUD THAT I AM A US CITIZEN. Because that country will never change as long as Indians live in India. Bangladesh killing Indian security men is like Cuba doing that on America. What a shame!! keep dreaming people, Thumara Bharat Mahan!!!

Views:Although this attack comes as a surprise. The stance India has taken shows that India is a soft-state. I feel betrayed by the government that it has not taken immediate action for the death of 16 of my fellow country men. Who say" You can sleep tight because tonight I am keeping watch". If I were the prime minister I would have avenged my men by bombing Bangladeshi securtiy posts the Israeli way. Restaint and peace are important but not at the cost of my fellow citizens. In the name of drawing flak from other countries the government is keeping quiet and is content with lodging protests. This is an outrageous act by Bangladesh and it will have to pay dearly for it's actions.

I strongly condemn this brutal killing of our soldiers by Bangladeshi Riffles and demand the GoI to take necessary action to safe guard the life and property of indian nationals. The GoI should behave like America when it comes to the citizens whether civilan or armed personel. The policy of American governament is that irrespective of the nation its priorty is the intrest of american nationals. Nothing should be done to americans in any nations, if done is to be dealt with severe retaliatory action. The GoI should get the mindset then only can it safeg

India should first take back the village, which the Bangladeshis captured & then once & for all teach them a lesson. Also all economic support to Bangladesh should be put on hol till such time they behave them selves. Views:wimpish is too mild word to be used in this context. It is more than 72 Hrs, since the issue is known to common public. And even now we dont know the exact cause of this. The way Indian Govt responded to this, it looks like it is our wrong doing and we are trying to cover it up. Even after 16BSF soldiers killed and 20 taken hostage and a entire village is running for cover, we still want to talk to that bastards and settle it peacefully. I dont know if our nuclear capability made us handicapped. But I am ashamed to see that we cant protect our country from a small neighbor like Bangladesh. The BJP is still busy arguing they are innocents in the tehelka expose. Congress is still trying to hold the country by stalling the Lok sabha. I dont know how to express my anger, i am burning inside. I hope atleast by today evening we come out with a plan on how we are going to handle this. I hope atleast this time the govt will show to the world that, no one in this world can take India for granted. I have decided not to touch upon our intelligence failure, Bacuase if it is worth 1/10th of ISI, it could have detected it much earlier. --Sanjai
