I have not spoken to Mulayam: Agarwal

Sacked Uttar Pradesh minister and Loktantrik Congress Party chief Naresh Agarwal late Friday night discounted media reports that he had spoken to Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on a possible alliance in the state ahead of the coming assembly elections.

"I am neither going to meet him (Mulayam) nor have I talked to him," Agarwal told Star News.

Agarwal accused Chief Minister Rajnath Singh of adopting "double standards" in sacking him. "Why was such an action not taken when some Bharatiya Janata Party ministers opposed the chief minister's decision to have a reservation quota for most backward castes?" Agarwal asked.
