Three persons were killed and 30 injured, when a bomb exploded on board Hardwar-Delhi passenger train near Ghaziabad on Delhi border on Tuesday, northern railway sources said.

The blast occurred at 3.40 pm when the train was moving between Modinagar and Muradnagar on the Ghaziabad-Meerut section, they said.

The seriously injured have been shifted to a civil hospital in Muradnagar, while others were discharged after first aid, they said.
